Question Any hair in back?

I want to build a bathroom medicine cabinet that has a center mirror and two side mirrors that will swing out so i can see the back of my head. I give myself my own hair cuts (I'm 60 so it doesn't matter anymore). And also I have been know to do a cockatoo impression also so I'd like to check for that. When I was married the wife would always be wetting her hand and petting me like a dog to get it to lay flat.

The cabinet will sit proud of the wall, it won't be recessed. I have the mirrors & wood ( need hinges Not sure what kind). I saw one factory made unit that had hinges that attached to the top of the cabinet but I don't what there called.

Anywhere I can find plans that come close and the type of hinges that will allow the side doors to swing out would be great, The center part doesn't have to be used to store stuff but it would be nice.

Thanks guys

You could just build your shell of a cabinet, and use these hinges.

You could use 1/8" mirror and 1/8" masonite to fit the 1/4" slot of the hinge, or use 3/16" or 1/4" mirror. The hinges only require a pivot hole in the bottom and top of the cabinet, for a bushing. They pivot very easy. You could make all three doors pivot.

Thanks cabinetman, and as for you 8th do you have hair? if so, you first!! Ha Ha. The third need I have is to store stuff so even with a bald head (which buy the way when I comb my hair I have enough to make a cat) I'd still have storage problem.

I've built a couple of these. The center mirror, I mounted closest to the wall. The two outside mirrors, I built a small case from 1x material about 3" deep which doubled as a medicine cabinet.. I used a piece of 1/2" plywood edge banded with paintable wood for the doors and mounted them with piano hinges.
