Teds woodworking plans

We have this guy Ted that keeps advertising Ted's woodworking plans here. He's been banned too many times to count and keeps coming back under a different name. I accidentally opened one of his ads on a google search looking for something else and got a trojan virus in my computer there. I encourage all members not to open any links this guy posts here. It's not worth it.

You also have to watch the links on Pinterest, he has managed to hijack many photos so they lead back to his site rather than the originator.

Hate those posts but they don't seem to be as bad as they used to be, you can back out of them but know nothing about getting a trojan GRRRRR!!!
He used to be set up where you pretty much had to shut down to get out of there.
I wonder what country it's coming from, on second thought I really don't. lol

There's a hundred ways to build anything, use what works best with your tools.

I think what happened was what Frank described. I was looking for drywall and opened a link and Ted came up. Then I couldn't close the page, I had to shut the computer off to get out of it. Then when I tried to turn the computer back on it had written something into windows. My son happened to be visiting and he worked on it and cleaned the bug out. I never would have been able to do it.
