sorting photos in gallery - Woodworking Talk

I have been unable to figure out how to sort the photos in my gallery. Ideally, they should appear in their numbered order. I'd thought the number appearing on the photo was its 'file name', but apparently not because trying to get them sorted by file name doesn't do it. There is nothing labeled file name, as far as I can see. Any help on this?

ok I do know you can store your pics in the order that as I see the first pics are the latest ones I installed.

last pic is the first one installed. Left to right.

So the way I understand now is that if you want the pictures to go in order, we should work backwards right?

For example I just put my first pictures up and they are in photos.
My very first picture I put up is the 11' mirror and it is showing as the last picture....

Then I put up another mirror that is 52" long and also put up a picture that pertained to this 52" mirror that is showing a closeup detail of this mirror, but when you open up photos, it shows the detailed closeup shot first when really it should follow after the main picture. Is there a way to reverse the pictures or do I just delete them and start over and work backwards?

Also, I know I put up another post asking this question but thought I would throw it in here again in case I don't get an answer....

What is the difference between photos and gallery?
I can't get into gallery...How do I do that? When I put up my pictures I thought they were going there, but they are in photos.

I also was looking for a way to "organize" my photos. I wish there was a way to drag them into an order (like the kodak site) and save. Red

Notice that it is called Old Gallery. Those of us who put pictures up before Nathan upgraded awhile back were putting pictures in the Gallery. When he instituted the new photo album's the pictures in our gallery are now in the Old Gallery. Everything now goes under My photos.
