Default Site Suggestion If I May

Love the site but had a suggestion. How about a section or Sticky somewhere that people can post deals on tools and such that they find on the internet. One of the Mustang forums I frequent has something like that called FYI Ads. People would post up used cars/parts they found on Craigslist and Ebay or just local stuff that wasn't on the internet. I've found stuff locally that I have no interest in or can't afford, but never posted it because I wasn't sure where to post it. Just an idea.

Red,

I'll bring it up with the others and see what gives. If we don't do it right away or at all don't be discouraged, we still like to hear members' ideas. Thanks for the suggestion and keep 'em coming. Kevin.

The thing I'd worry about is inviting spammers to take advantage.

I am no Moderator or Administrator but I do agree with them both. Just post it in the classifides as "a good deal". That's my 2 cents Handy

A new section would be the best so a new thread can be started for each item. If we use a single sticky it would be a mile long.

A man needs only two tools: WD40 and duct tape. If it does not move and should, use the WD40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

I like this idea. I visit sawmill creek and it is the only thread I read there. Deals and discounts I think they call it. It's nice because you might hear of a deal at lowes or free shipping at rockler. That sort of stuff is nice to find out about before it's too late.
