Email Notifications - Woodworking Talk

I really like the email notification feature that informs me when someone has posted a reply in one of my subscribed discussion threads. However, I think all it looks for is activity since the last email notification was sent. If it could monitor my activity in that discussion thread and notify me only of new posts since the last time I viewed that thread it would help to reduce unnecessary emails. I often check them and there is no change since I viewed it earlier that day.

Or, have the option to get instant notifications of new postings.

Just a thought.

you can have the option to get instant notifications of new postings by going in to your control panel under edit options
