Default What did Santa bring you???

Ok, I'll start this one since my wife and I exchange gifts on Christmas Eve.

1/2" drill chuck for my lathe
Book: Woodturning with Ray Allen
Book: The Art of Segmented Wood Turning by Malcolm Tibbetts
2 Delta Universal mobile machine bases.
A Barracuda 2 lathe chuck and a set of plate jaws to go with it (from me to me )
A Grizzly 14" Ultimate Bandsaw (from me to me )

Let's hear what the rest of you got from Santa!

unfortunately, i don't think Santa will be quite as good to me. but i'm hoping to make up for it in a month or so by buying a new TS.

A giftcard from Woodcraft would be nice since there's one nearby.
Umm...yeah, I always end up buying whatever I need too KJ. It's funny how our craft warrants things that most people just scratch their head at wondering what the heck it's for!

Otherwise I'm hoping for an old friend's parents to hopefully receive some small dose of comfort today. This will be the first Christmas without their daughter. She was an only child and was taken from this life six months ago.

I'm not being a downer here, but it is something that has been at the front of my mind this week. I know she's ok now. I just try and keep her parents in my thoughts often, and hug my wife and son a little more.

I hope everyone has a great Holiday, and keep the spirit of life alive.

I pretty much have everything I need. I did get a new digital camera in my stocking. The last one "got broke". I carry it with me most of the time, the wife and I were cruising and I saw a big tree. (and I carry a tape measure with me). I thought for sure this was the biggest catalpa I had ever seen, maybe a state record...it is the 5th largest in the state measured . I jumped out of the truck and dropped the camera, the flash has not worked since.
So I got a new camera. Here are the 2 pictures that killed my last one. The tree had a crown almost 1/2 a city block . Just in case you are not good with math...at the narrowest part, where she had the tape it is 58" across.

Santa brought me a wonderful day for cooking outside, managed to get most of my family in one place at the same time, shared some laughs, had some good food, and got to know one another again. We did exchange a few presents but, that was not the important thing, family, kids, good times are what mean the most.....Merry Christmas to all

Woodworking wise....

Clamps
Biscuit jointer
And a note to pick out a table saw :D

Non-woodworking related:
wine cooler (2 zone!)
vertical banner - "Céad Mile Fáilte!"
plaque with traditional prayer (may the road rise to meet you.."
new phones for the house (to replace the $20 one I bought)

Among other things, too many to list/think of at the moment :D
