Now that is funny!!

That must have been the one that the man who installed my some of my hurricane shutters was using. He drilled through brick at the speed that I would drill through mortar.

Yep that is a funny add for sure. What I don't understand is if that is the latest and greatest 28volt tools on the market, than why is my 4 year old 12 volt Panasonic impact driver still stronger. The 28 volt impact driver only puts out 600 Ibs At 27,000 Bpm and my 12 volt puts out 1060 Ibs at 2800 Bpm. Why is 4 year old technolagy twice as strong?

those 28 volt tools are VERY nice...I have a drill..vac...grinder and sawzall...love em all

that's great. I want to get an impact but the ones I would want are sooo expensive. I'll just keep using cordless drill for now.

I doubt that it has anything to do with then or now technology. I imagine they are performing just the way the designer wanted them to perform.

Are you sure of that number 27,000 beats per minute. How about closer to 1,800 rpm?

GeorgeC I got that information off their web site and the information about the panasonic out of my owners manual.
