Default Thoughts and words

What little verbal tid-bits expresses your prejudices or dislikes? Some little saying or one liner that sort of sums up your thoughts on any given subject?
Non-political please!

I'll start with: "A tee shirt without pockets is just another shop rag."

Chime in with yours.

My thoughts on the matter seem transparent, at least on the surface. But to find meaning in life you must part the blades of grass and search deeper, grasshopper . . . .

Lightbulb TT's post made me think:

"Silence is Golden"
"The Golden Rule"...do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
"Respect your Parents"
"Love your children, tell them that daily."
"He who is without sin among you, cast the first stone"
"Let bygones be bygones"
"Forgive and Forget"
"The First Lie is never the Last"
"It ain't the crime, it's the cover-up"
"Always tell the Truth,
.......just don't always be telling it"
"You can't handle the Truth"
"You can't teach an old dog new tricks"

I rather do things myself , that way I have no one to bitch about.

I don't argue to prove I'm right, I do it to prove you wrong.

A good friend of mine stationed just about everywhere I was had this saying about someone's speed or intelligence in doing something.

“Dude they're about as slow as a snails orgasm"

I always liked that one.
