I wonder if there is a website similar to ours here for a cat painting sub-society? Catpainting.com. Or Catdecorators.com. I am afraid to google search it because I don't want it to be true. Ignorance of such people is bliss.

There may be somebody somewhere that has painted a cat, but the emails showing the pictures were deemed not true. As I stated in the OP, Snopes says no. Personally, I don't condone or suggest painting an animal.

Now, if those cats were born that way, that would be a different story.

My dad sends me emails saying certified by snopes this, confirmed by snopes that...what the H is snopes anyways and how do they have all the answers?

Snopes is a website that verifies urban legends, stories, events, myths, etc. You can use that site as a search tool. It's a pretty cool site:

There are most definitely contests in animal grooming where this kind of stuff happens. It usually goes along with some weird grooming, though, not just painting.
