The ACLU is trying to tear down a War Memorial in the Mojave Desert

If the mods feel this is 2 polictal please remove

Do not just read and go away.

Take the time to write your congressman and senator and tell them what you think. Agitate to get the site declared a national monument.

The ACLU is out of hand. They have done good in the past and still occasionally have a really worthwhile project. But they have let power to to their head and want to get into more and more areas.

The one "complainer" probably never served in the armed forces, or knew anyone that did, or had any friends or relatives killed in conflict. This request should have been denied by the ACLU for reasons concerning the civil liberties of those that want the memorial. A cross on government land? Guess they haven't been to Arlington Cemetery.

Sometimes I wonder whats happening to this country! I'm not a vet, but I'll gladly write my congressman.

Were I worked before I retired removed Veterans day from our Holiday list and replaced it with Martin Luther King day . Now don"t get me wrong I don't have a problem with Him having a day of his own I did not like them removing Veterans Day from our list of days.
