Mike, It`s about Global Warming...a very contraversial subject...I think the more I learn...the better I can convey to my friends. I`m definetly concerned that changes made for the sake of humanity...is something we all need to be aware of...we need to be prepared for our childrens future...instead of using their future. I just wanted to pass the word... Rick

And is this program scientifically sound, or is this another political propaganda piece?

I have no idea what direction this goes, BUT... from BOTH sides of the arguments about global warming, its causes and effects, there seems to be some incredibly poor science, and more than a little politics mixed into it. It makes it quite difficult for folks to actually know if what they are seeing, or being told is truth, or just an agenda being pushed through...

I don`t recall Global Warming being much talked about in this election...other than it`s a concern... You might watch it and draw your own opinion. You can`t really have an opinion if you don`t know much about it! You decide...I just wanted to pass the word. Rick

So far I have seen nothing that at all convinces me that Global Warming is anything caused by humans. This earth has been going through many, many cycles for millions of years without any inputs from humans. The little 20 or 30 year period that is currently being blamed by some on humans is so miniscule that it is totally impossible to have any scientific idea of how it relates to earth's geothermal history.

It will be interesting to see what this program has to say. However, PBS is notorious for NOT being neutral on subjects like this.

I agree. You can have two different documentary film makers make a movie on peanut butter, both with facts and figures presented by experts and somehow one film can present peanut butter as the worst food you can possibly eat, and the other will declare it the healthiest food you can eat.
I'd watch the one made by the skinny guy, because I loves me peanut butter...

Thanks for the heads up Rick, I'll have to check it out.

There are people out there trying to bring issues to the public ears and eyes...it`s very complicated and simple! You decide...Thanks for watching!! Ifound it, kind of strange that PBS is funded by the very corp.s who are adding to the problem! I think it was a great documentary...our childrens children will see how we handled the issue... Rick PS GOOD LUCK

I watched the show last night. Very interesting indeed. I felt they painted the entire picture, both sides, very well.

With all the issues facing this world we live in, I look to one group, those we send to the House and Senate. They are the ones that need to make good decisions for everyone. The Lobbyist's on both sides of every issue is counter-productive. It's no wonder the world is in the shape it's in, not to mention the economic mess. As long as we allow the politics to continue we are sealing our fait and it isn't pretty and it's late in the game.

I say we throw all the bums out, elect new representatives, abolish lobbling and fix this before our childrens, children have no place to live. Surely there are some better minds out there ..... someplace.

Yup, and they are too smart to get into politics.

Let's see I can take a job running a business into the ground making $500,000 a year and when we go under take my millions in severence pay, or I can run for president and make $400,000 a year while spending 15 million to get the job. I think I'll just keep working at a regular job with less headaches and make less money but at least I can sleep at night with a clear consience.

Okay this ONE somewhat political question and I am quiet on the subject.

Why don't we fill the government with carpenters, mechanics, system administrators, cooks and administrative assistants instead of the very same people that cause the problems we have (Lawyers and business executives)?

I think I am going to write in Javier, the oil change guy at the care care center on main street for the school council... I am sick and tired of the freaking lawyers...
