Default Finger nails on a blackboard

I was watching "Ultimate Factories" on NatGeo, the IKEA episode.

They used the term, "Quality fiber board".

It was like someone scraping their finger nails on a blackboard.

Sigh

Where can I get some of this so called high quality fiberboard? Is it a good replacement for solid walnut because I am about to build a walnut and cherry changing table/dresser for my baby that will be here in 3 months.
