Default Ever get a song "stuck in your head"

Or is it just me ? I woke up with a certain song in my head, I just could not get it out. I am so glad Al Gore invented the internet . I can go to youtube and listen to it (if I can't find the original recording handy) until that "itch is scratched". I had to do it this morning like I said. My dog was just staring at me, he thought I was having a fit of some sort . I was in my computer chair swing my arms banging on imaginary drums and thumping my feet on the floor. Maybe I am weird ?

Speaking of trolling!

You KNOW we can't stand not knowing the song and have to ask. But yes it happens to me alot. I have to do the same thing. Listen to the song until I'm truly nauseated, and then listen to some old standard favorites right afterward.

have you ever gotten a Barney song stuck in yourhead?

"I love you. You love me. We're a happy fam-a-lee with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you . . . "

Haha. Some readers who have reared kids will curse me for this because it will stick in their heads. It happened to me too many times. Just spreading the love . . . .

(that was a funny video Devildog, never seen it) No it was actually this song, Bonzo's Montreux. Kind of a drummers song maybe ?, I am not even a drummer. But when I hear this (or Moby Dick, or Four Sticks, or In my time of dying, or Fool in the rain, or...) it makes me want to buy a set and try to knock a hole in them.

The Barney Song and SpongeBob SquarePants . I used to have an electrician that worked for me who had small kids. He and I grew up together and went to about a million rock concerts in our teens/early 20s together...on the job he would walk around all day singing Barney and SpongeBob songs . I would laugh and he said he just could not help it, the tapes are playing nonstop at his house

You guys should listen to Big Smith's "Twelve inch, three speed, oscillating fan..." You'll have it in your head for days...

It's kind of strange but the songs that get stuck in my head the most are throwbacks to the seventies when I was a kid. It could be anything from Elton John to Donna Summer...I don't know why, it just happens. Sometimes I have to do a Google search for lyrics because my wife will remember the song I'm singing or humming and ask "Who was that?" Last time that happend I had a slow guitar solo stuck in my head and had to remember at least one line so I could search it out...it was I Love You, by Climax Blues Band...great song though.

For us it's lines from movies that my son watches over and over. I can recite almost line for line a couple of movies already. One of his favorites is Disney's Country Bears. It's actually a really good movie, but after 30 or 40 times, you kind of start hoping that he'll get sick of it.

Elmo might be the worst offender though. Elmo's World has a jingle that goes with it at the beginning that wedges itself into my brain on a regular basis.
