Default carbonfiber hardware

Hi.

Well first off i'm new here, i've done a little woodworking in my past but lately have been doing composites. Well i've built a few porjects marring carbon and wood together and i really loved how it turned out. So I got the idea to make hardware from carbon and i though you guys would be the perfect audience to get some feed back from since i'm hoping to market it to be put in on furniture, kitchen cabinets and bath room drawers and any other place a pull handle would be needed.

There are som pics below showing two different type of of material, one is a larger weave and the other is a smaller weave. which one do you like best. In the 2nd pic is a thickness the thinner on is .165" thiick and the thicker one is .245" thiick which one do you pefer.

these are prototypes and not finished product i still have a little bit more work to do like figuring out the length i want and finish but figuring out the weave and thickness needs to be done frist before i can go to step two.

Also any other feedback would be helpful like different shapes and do you think you would buy this etc. i hoping to be able to sell this in the 4-6 doller range per handle which should put me in the middle to upper end on hardware that i have seen at lowesand home depot. i also added a picture of a coffee table i built for m friend who was injured and need a special heght.

I like it. I used to build carbon fiber skateboards, so this is right up my alley.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any hardware, just strips of carbon fiber. What type of "hardware" are we talking about? Drawer pulls, brackets, corner "pockets" or what? I tend to prefer the tighter weaves when working with carbon fiber but why limit yourself, if you think it will matter to people aesthetically. Using one is no different than using the other, from a manufacturing perspective, so it could be an "option" that will allow a broader customer base for those that think it does make a difference. Same thing for the thickness. Some applications will need a slightly thicker material for strength, while others will be fine with thinner.

Personally, buying carbon fiber hardware is probably something I wouldn't do since I'd just make my own if that's the look I was going for, but a lot of people do buy aftermarket carbon fiber components for all kinds of things. I think the customer base is out there, so it's worth a shot.

frank yes working with the two weaves is the same process, i was more asking what weave is more appealing to the eye. me persoanlly i perfer the bigger weave on larger project and the smaller weave on smaller projects. yes these will mainly be pull drawer hardware i could do brackets if needed but i always liked the way the carbon compliments wood or metal instead of all carbon this is speaking purely astetics and not strength.
