Default Simple Wood sticks for the kitchen

I am making some cutting boards using maple and jatoba. I finished most of my cut out today and my wife noticed a couple pieces of scrap and suggested them for wood sticks for the kitchen so I cleaned em up a bit and finished them with mineral oil. Other than my unfinished oak push stick, this is my first hardwood completed project.

For those of us who aren't domesticated, what would you use those sticks for?

Looks like a oven rack puller/pusher to me but what do I know...I'm barely house broken.

Stir stick for noodles or other such stuff. The hook is so you can latch it to the pot between stirrings.

I really am an old country boy because I had no clue. Nice work though.

Thank you. I know it's not a big deal but since it is the first thing I've completed and finished with something other than cheap big box doug fir I am rather pleased with it. Hope to finish up the cutting first 2 cutting boards soon.

Very nice. Post some pics of the cutting boards when you get them done.
