old fashioned mahogany sideboard

Really enjoyed producing this piece. Not exactly to my taste but the customer was really happy. Used small brass butt hinges and bog oak handles. Two base coats and one finish coat p.c lacquer.

Very nice! I particularly like the dovetails but the design is great too.

Thanks lads. Yeah it is my own design. Quite old fashioned but a nice piece for the right house. I really love hand cutting dovetails. Thanks for all the feedback. Cheers!

I really like that. I was not aware that mahogany could be as light in color as is the top. What type of mahogany is it?

You have some strange looking clamps there. Never seen any like that.
