Default Small projects

So I cut the deck off my stitch and glue kayak in order to make some modifications and to put on a new cedar stripped deck. I bought some white cedar, walnut, and mahogany for the project and proceeded to rip that into 4/4 by 3/8 inch thick strips a few weeks ago. I currently have about 40 14 foot long strips and 16 6 foot long strips.

As a result of this project I've had to make several minor projects. First was a set of rollers as in/out feeds. I'm in the process of making a second set now. The whole thing is collapsible and allows me to swap "heads" so I can use it as a roller, a kayak sling, or a surfboard shaping stand, depending upon what project I'm working on at the time. The whole thing is a vertical box that slots to fit into two feet that cross (also collapsible). The actual stand portion is a 4x4 post with the "head" attached. I'll see if I can get some google sketchups of the various head designs, and the whole thing in the next couple of days.

I also had to make a router table, which is really just a mounting board that I clamp to my tablesaw. I had a cheap ryobi table that ripped out, so I took the guides from it and mounted them to my "table". Eventually I'll see about mounting the feet and power switch as well, but I'm more interested in getting the kayak finished for now.

With the router table in place, I started beading my strips (for cove and bead construction) and it went remarkably well. I did the 6 foot strips. I now have the long strips to do and I'll be ready to do the coves.

Any suggestions on how to prevent the coves from chipping while I'm doing this?

EDIT: sketchup of the current stand... none of the extra "heads" though. The left is the actual stand, the middle is the box that has adjustable height settings, and the right are the two feet that interlock to make a cross shape that then interlocks with the box.

EDIT 2: Added picture of router table in use beading the strips for my kayak deck, and a picture of the built feed stand.
