Default First Sloped Vend Hood

This is the first sloped vent hood me and my buddy build. The builder we work for finished it a little differently than we expected, but I think it's pretty nice.

Very nice hood. I really like the way the corners were finished. Most people, myself included would have just put the details on the front and sides. Yours wraps around. I sell hoods and inserts, this is a nice piece.

Thanks a lot...it's friggin huge too. The bottom box is nearly 5' wide. It was definitely an experiment. We've built many hoods, but they were always just a straight slope not curved like this one. You can kind of see on the right side of the curve were the plywood pulled apart. Here is another angle of it unfinished...

I would have to agree that I'm not a big fan of the way that it was finished, (I'm not a fan of painting/staining wood. I prefer it to be natural) but the hood is fantastic. Nice work.
