Default Custom fireplace

It's made of maple. Base moulding is poplar, as well as some detailed mouldings inside the frame. Mohawk stain.

Looks nice noname. Nice detail. Is that a woodburner it's around? Do you have to be concerned with the wood being close to the firebox opening with that unit?

that's a good question mike. well done - beautiful work. i like the finish. the ornate detais - cnc,decorators supply, or standard pre-purchase fabrication?

Default Looks like a gas log to me

With all the wiring and stuff underneath and those look like"gas" logs. So, probably not a combustion issue. Nice work! bill

It's an electric fire place, it runs on gas. (we are going to do one more really soon, the real one, it has granite around burning area). Some one put in inside the wall so there was no way to get a standard fireplace.

Columns are from tablelegs.com 42' the 2 ornamental mouldings were bought in lowe's. One is Raw Whitewood Chair Rails, and other one is a combination of 2 moldings. One is the casing, other one which goes inside of is small 3/4 of an inch squared moulding. If you would like to see more details just hold ctrl + mouse wheel.
