Cabinet for a Navy Ship

There was an empty space between two metal cabinets in the Wardroom on my ship. The CO wanted to have a wood one built to fill the void. I have built something for every command I have been a part of so far, so I volunteered to take a couple days off and build this cabinet. It was tough being away from the ship, but sacrifices have to be made from time to time.

The countertop has a shilouette of the ship glued to the top. We covered it with some bar too epoxy for a pretty nice finish.

The doors have a shilouette of the cave dwellings from Mesa Verde State Park to go with the ships name.

Sounds as though you are on a good ship. Happy crew, happy ship. In the Royal Navy would be celebrated with a tot of rum.
