Default Bookcase for Nephew

Here was my first major project. I was really pleased with the finished product and learned a great deal. My neice and nephew actually argued over whose room it would go into .

Ignore this post, I made an oops and don't know how to fix it.

I built my son one out of scrap ply for the sides and solid pine shelves, cleats and trim. It's painted black and he is long out of the house, it has been to Denver for a couple of years and is now back in New Jersey in need of a refinish. He just really likes it and has had it for 23 years now.

Yours is so much nicer, I'm sure it will be in the family for a long long time.
