Default birdhouse and chair

Just finished both this past weekend. I did the birdhouse in partnership with my five yo grandson. I cut out the parts and he nailed it together and painted it. The chair was done with leftover material from previous projects, including the leather and the tacks. Wood is Honduras mahogany. The chair will become a desk chair for another grandson.

Great looking stuff. Nice way to get the grandson involved, too.

Great use of scrap material. Great job by your grandson as well. Get the next generation involved early.

Beautiful work. Both in different ways. I really like the chair.
