Default Barister Book Case

I would like to show some pictures of one of my projects, that I thought turned out quite well.

When you post a reply, say to this thread, click "go advanced" wait til the window comes up that has 4 bars that say "browse". click on the top bar/window and you will be sent to your pictures/my pictures stored in your computer. click on the one that you want, and then wait a few seconds, click the next one and so on. You can only post 4 pictures, then... enlarge that whole window.. until you see "upload pictures" click on that and then wait until it says "close this window" and click on that. Then when you click on "submit changes" it will post the photos. Or you can put them in an album in under your profile and give the album, a name such as Project. same process as above. Now, lets see 'em! BTW click on "My Photos" under woodnthings to see my projects and albums. bill

That is a very good looking piece. Something to be proud of for sure.
I built mine based on the plans in Woodcraft magazine but like the raised panels on yours better.
May I ask, how are your doors attached? Did you use hardware like Norm recommends or just pins and grooves like I did?

Yes, it looks like a fantastic piece. I wish the pic was bigger so I could see some closer detail though. I am curious about these and may give one a try someday. Good work!

Thanks Bill.
I am now able to get some of my pictures up. To answer your question, I just cut a grove in each end panel and used an oak pin to guide the door into the open position. Used Johnsons past wax So far workes nicely. I have many more pictures that show the construction, and was wondering , since I cannot post but 5 at one post, would it be possible to add nore pictures to quick reply messages like this one?

Welcome to the forum Clement,
Nice job on the bookcases. I think you could upload more pictures to your personal album in your photo gallery. It should let you load up more than 5.
