Default work bench as outfeed table

I was all set up to use my workbench as my outfeed table when I realized my old saw is the kind that the table moves up and down, not the blade. So I'm thinking I could set the most common height. Like maybe 1" of blade exposed. any other ideas or thoughs would be helpful.

You could make a ramp for the saw to bring it up.

This may not be ideal but you could attach some adjustable height rollers to your bench for supporting boards. Just a thought.
