Hi everybody I just found this forum and so far I am very impressed. I do have a question. I have an older grizzly 1023 3 hp cabinet saw with there old style fence. I want to upgrade. But the biesemeyer, I just can't justify 420 bucks The grizzly classic with 50 inch rails $279 Does anybody have any experience with this one. Thanks for any help and keep up the good work on this forum. Thanks again Rick

I have the Griz 1023 with 7' rails and the Shop Fox fence. It's great! Mine has UHMW faces.

Default Biesemeyer Fence

The Biesemeyer is expensive, but Delta is now making a smaller version of the Biesemeyer fence called a T2-30 (being 30 inches) or T2-50 (50 inches long). The price range is around $200.00 and runs very smoothly and a much better quality than a home shop version for the price. You can't beat it!

I had the T2 fence on my delta contractor saw. I thought it was a great fence and really liked it. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was connected at the back also, consequently, I had issues with mounting an outfeed table. It just took some modifying to make it work. The fence was very smooth, accurate, and smooth.
