Default Sand Master 38-C

Didn't know if this should be in project showcase or
the joke page.??
SO,, I put it in power tools.

The Sand Master 38-C. A very good drum sander.
Easy change drums. from one to four inch drums.
Miter groove for small drums. Easy change top.

Low cost. Quiet.

Out of pocket cost was 38 cents, one 12X12 stickie
back floor tile.

The top just sits on it for ease of cleaning and changing
paper. It is a split drum from Harbor Freight.
The motor and aluminum top are from an old
Craftsman band saw. I used the original switch
but may change that later. If it tried to walk about
I may put some rubber feet on it. It seems OK now.
Simple rabbit joints with screws and Titebond III.
The motor plate is not glued in case I need to change
things later.

PS: How do you like my eyeballed freehand miters
on the cleats under the motor plate??

I use sand paper with a microchip in each piece of
grit that sends me a text message when it gets dull.
