Default Ridgid TS-3650 vs 3660

As I mentioned in my intro, I just picked up a Ridgid TS-3660 from HD today. I actually went there for the 3650 which is on sale for $466 until March 12th. I asked the SA boxes it came in and he said the older model (3650) came in 2, but, the newer (3660) came in just 1.

Other than the packaging he said they're the same saw.
Is this the case?
I've been watching the 3650 for over a year now and know it's received a lot of good reviews, but, nothing is perfect.

So what if any differences are there between the two.

Being a single 300+ lb carton, mine is still in the back of my Jeep until my neighbor gets back and can assist in unloading and probably the assembly.

ThankX,
Ron

Besides the difference in packaging, the only other difference between the 3650 and the 3660 is that the legs on the 3660 have been beffed up a little. Other than that they are identical.

I have been watching for the 3650 to go on sale, but my local HD has not done so. Neither have they got the new 3660 in yet. But thanks for the info. Hope you like your new saw!!
