My electrician just got us wired up for our new shaper and cabinet saw. The shop is just about complete now. The cabinet saw is made by Saw Stop. I'll let you know how it is when we're done putting all the pieces together!
We've been running this 15" spiral head thickness planer for a month now and it's a great piece of equipment!!!!! Much quieter than the old 13" Jet and once it's adjusted right their's hardly any snipe on either end:thumbsup:
Sorry about the first pic being fuzzy. We have to move a few things around in there and then order the D/C pipe for everything. I'll post more pic's when we're all done.
WooooHooooo, Darn Nice Toys!!! That's some big toys. I'll bet you can make a big pile of sawdust with those bad boys! Be sure to post some pics of the finished shop and finished products.
Looking great. Post the pics when you are finished. I personally think that those tools are too big for your shop. Not to worry, I am willing to take those bulky pieces of machinery off your hands for no additional cost. I wont even charge you for fuel to come and pick them up.
Gotta love new tools
Ken
I had to take a better picture of the cabinet saw. I shuffled a few things around in the shop today too. One more work table to build and finish putting the saw together, then I can order the pipe for D/C:thumbsup:
Hi I see in your shop picture that you have a Makita Miter Saw. I have purchased the 12" saw. Do you have any trouble with the blade guard? Mine at times will not open because the linkage arm becomes disengaged. Then it does not totally expose the blade so if you are doing a 12 inch wide board the guard hits the starting edge of the board instead of the blade. Does you know if there is any adjustment that can be made. Also was looking at you table that you built for it I need to make one for mine but would like it to be movable so that I could take it to a job site. Thanks
I am with Kenbo. I will help you with any of those toys you don't need. Which cutterhead is on your planer? --the helical or the HH Byrd one?
