Default New Ridgid Saw

Well, with the sage and appreciated advice of the knowledgeable group that forms this forum, I took the plunge and picked up a Ridgid TS-3660 this afternoon from Home Depot for the $399 clearance price. Next step is to move it piece by piece to the basement.

Is there anyone out there that owns this saw (or one similar to it) that has any tips or advice for the assembly? I plan to start that project tomorrow.

Thanks,
Bill

I think the best way is sort all the parts, sort all the nuts and bolts, washers, ect. grab the manual got to page 1 and mostly just follow it.
By sorting all the stuff it is easier to keep track of and harder to get things mixed up.
I just went threw the same thing on my stuff.
When you get it all togather and go to cut your first board DON"T stand behind the saw stand off to the side a little kick back you know. I had a saw I had to use a clamp on the back of the fence and measure the front and back of the fence to make sure they were even or that puppy would kick like a mule.
Enjoy be safe and make lots of sawdust
