Default Modern Woodworking Machine Company in UK

Hello,

I wonder if anyone could help me, I have purchased a Multi-Woodworking Machine made by the Modern Woodworking Machine Company who were based in Leicester in the UK.

The Serial number is DS196.

The chap I purchased this from thinks that it is a 3 Phase and 4HP, but I was wondering if its 240v ?..

Anybody out there with any thoughts?

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Malcolm

There should be a plate on the motor that will give you all that info. It may also have a wire diagram for hooking up to different voltages. If all this is new to you then I highly suggest you enlist the help of someone who knows it.

To understand 3 phase wiring a bit better, take a look at this site:

It might help you out.
