Question Makita MLS100 Mitre Saw

Looking for a reasonably accurate, reliable DIY saw, so considering the new entry level Makita.

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/49074/Power-Tools/Compound-Mitre-Saws/Makita-MLS100-Mitre-Saw-250mm-240V

Any experience or views on this saw? What compromises have been made compared to the well respected but more expensive saws from Makita?

Many thanks...

I am by no means an expert on this, but what I know is that at the tool store I work at,carpenters who own Makita miter saws insist on telling me how good they are, over and over again.

How do they compare to the entry-level Ryobi (here $99 for the 10-inch, $149 with the laser).
