Default least use tool?

What power tool do you use least often?

In my case, it is;

Jig saw

Hand power planer

Hilti drywall screw gun

The screw gun I bought at a pawn shop for
one dollar because it was stripped out they
told me, the arbor didn't turn.
They didn't know it had a clutch.

My benchtop belt/disc sander. Very seldom used, but when I do need it not much else will substitute.

Well I would have to look in the back of my cabient to find it. I have forgotten.

OK I looked because I was curious

Biscuit joiner for sure!
Followed closely but my Miter saw (RAS instead)
Then a hand held belt sander.

I have a belt/edge sander that I use a lot.

Probably for me it would be my jig saw or the bench top belt sander. With the bench top sander, I use it more when I'm making broken tile mosiacs but very seldom for wood.

I would have to say that it is my hand held belt sander. I only use it when I want to turn a really nice piece into alot of sawdust and scratches!

Like a few above I took a look around. In my shop its the tool with the thickest layer of sawdust on it though. Brushed off the thickest wad and its the jig saw. Years ago Dad bought me an origanal Roto-Zip. It took over most of the duties of the jig saw. But then as above . . . when you need it . . . its the tool for the job.

My least used tool would definetly have to be my broom.
I guess that's why santa got me a DC.

For me it would have to be the handheld power planer, then the 1/4 sheet finish sander, then jig saw. I dont have a dedicated biscuit joiner yet, just an attachment to fit on my router, but the router gets used frequently.

Well, I was thinking about getting a biscuit joiner. I'll go ahead and scratch that one off the list.

I have a 1/4 sheet sander (got it as part of a promotional offer, I think) that I used only once.

For me it would be the 1/4 sheet sander. I use the ROS now. The second least used tool might be the circular saw, however, when needed it is a lifesaver. The least used tool is probably put up somewhere and I can't really think of it, so the sheet sander will be it for now.

So true, that's great....

I have a tie...

Disc/ Belt Sander - Used Once
Jig Saw - Used Once
Hand Belt Sander - Used Once

I haven't used my circular saw since I bought a table saw.

I have a porter cable dove tail jig that hasn't come out of the box yet, but that doesn't count.

I would have to agree with Warner. All the other tools that have been mentioned are those tools that when you need them you need them, and priceless when you do need them. The least used tool for me would be the handheld power planer. I haven't used that in about 5 years. Would I ever consider getting rid of it? Not a chance.
