Default General 350 or Jet Deluxe Xacta? Is riving knife worth $370 more?

So after many helpful replies on my "I want a cabinet saw but I'm not a woodworker" thread (thanks guys) I think I've decided cabinet saw and narrowed it down to 2, at least until I change my mind again.
A used General 350 in great condition, 52" fence, extension table, Powermatic mobile base, only 3 years old or the Jet Deluxe Xacta. If the riving knife did not exist, hands down I would take the General for every other reason. However, I see the benefits of the riving knife but it will cost me an extra $370 for the new Jet over the used General. I can't decide. At least right now. Any help? I love the General. It is the better saw. Goes for close to $3K new but no riving knife. Powermatic, Sawstop, and Laguna are the only others that offer riving knife but they are out of my price range and I prefer the Jet over the equivalent Grizzly's for reasons I won't go in to.

Thoughts...
