Default Delta tablesaw repair

I have a 36-750 10" tablesaw that I am replacing the bearings in. I have removed the arbor and old bearings, now I need to know the best procedure to install the new bearings.

Do I press the the new bearing into the yoke or press it onto the arbor shaft first, and then press arbor and bearing assembly into yoke. Also can you tell me how tight to torque the nut on the pulley end of the shaft?

Any help would be appreciated

You always press bearings into the housing....the shaft should slip right into the bearings...

Does the shaft have a bolt or nut on the end of it? And is it reversed threaded?

Thanks,

I found a website that detailed the changing of the bearings and shaft. They agree to press the bearing into the housing, then press the shaft into the bearing while supporting the bearing center so as not to put pressure on the balls.

Yes the shaft has a nut on the end where the pulley is bolted and it the normal right-hand thread. Any idea on how much torque to tighten it to?
