More likely that no one owns it, or at least no one who has read the thread owns this model.

If it was not worth having I am sure anyone who thought so for whatever reason would warn you!

It sounds to me like its just a basic saw. My King is 14" 3/4hp and is only a basic saw nothing fancy and under powered.

I read a bunch of reviews and that saw had a few problems. Vibration was the biggest knock. I think if you do some searches you will find some reviews. I spent a bit more money on a Jet 14DX a few weeks ago and I'm real happy with this tool.

Mine had a bad vibration to and found the motor out of alignment so I relined it and it still had a little then after I put it on a mobile base with rubber wheels it cured almost 100%

Thanks guys. I am looking for something within the $500.00 range that I can add the riser block to if I decide to later.
I have come upon several things as of late that would have been a whole lot easier to accomplish if I had had a band saw. So, the hunt begins. What I really want and what I can afford never seem to match.

I have been hearing Steel city is putting out some decent tools so you might want to check into this.

I think I found the one I want. I'll just have to save up a little more for it.

Damn, every time I think I got the picture thing figured out it doesn't work.

woodman,

I just bought a Grizzly 14" ultimate bandsaw. They are on sale until the end of the year. I have heard it is a great saw. Didn't receive it yet but will post my opinions after I get a chance to use it.
