Default Cut fence rails or new fence ?

Have craftsman 22114 table saw -great product but the fence rails make it hard to move around in my small shop.

I set up only one half of front rail and slid it in a bit .
would need to cut both sides down to get to size I need .
ideal would be even with left side and about 8-10 inches over on right
total rails about 48"-50"

anyone have ideas ??

I would check with Sears to see if they have shorter rails available. Most woodworkers like the longest rails they can get, so it would be a shame if you had to cut them down. If shorter rails are available I would buy a set and put the longer ones aside for the future when you might have a bigger shop.

The other possibility is to have short rails fabricated by a local machine shop.

And, of course, if all else fails you could search out another fence that has shorter rails.
