Default Craftsman Drill Guide

All in all, most reviews I've seen for drill guides are negative, but this drill guide from Sears gets good marks. So, this one, or is there another out there that is more highly regarded?

Smata,
I have a drill guide that looks very similar to the sears, just doesn't have the springs. I keep it in my work van. I don't use it much, mostly because I forget I have it, but when I do need it, it works well. It is very easy to use. Most of these guides you can let the rods hang down a little past the base to self-center the hole being drilled. They are handy when you need a depth stop, and also work well when using a forstner bit. I think they are a nice tool to have if you don't have a drill press, or use it like I do when I don't have a drill press on the job.
