Smile The best "8 Spiral Joiner

I looking for a 8" Joiner with great cutting precision...no tear out. I am looking for a spiral joiner which uses the parrallel infeed and outfeed tables. I would appreciate any suggestions as to a specific company/model. My budget is max $1400 to 1500.

Thanks

Default 8" spiral jointer

Hi George,
I'm also looking for an 8" jointer. I (like you I'm sure) have been reading all the forums, and come up with similar results; the Grizzly machine is the best bang for the buck. I'm also about to purchase this piece of equipment. I have a General International left tilt table saw, and their products are great. The prices are not nearly as competitive as Rigid or Grizzly. Did I mention that Grizzly is also in contention ?
Take a look at Jet tools at Woodcraft.
